I'm Fed Up
I have been growing increasingly short tempered with people who honestly believe that by holding a stance on the social issue of the day, that they are actually making this country better. My patience is wearing very thin with those who do not give any deeper thought to the possibility that they are being entertained by the “Man” or worse, that they are being manipulated and led like lemmings to provoke legislation. People who do not know they are being used to pass laws and limit rights. I’ve been getting easily enraged by ideologues who believe that their party is righter than the other without so much of wondering about the possibility that both parties are on the same team and I have definitely grown tired with those who throw their hands up in the air and say “oh well, I’m just not going to pay attention cause I can not do anything about it anyways.” and lastly, I’m beginning to lose my temper with those who call me, Racist, Bigot, Traitor,Zealot or Radical because I do not fall for the bullshit that is being fed to me and being called reality, because I choose to write from the standpoint of logic, because I choose to look at an issue from different perspectives, because I choose to challenge all beliefs, as well as my own.
It's not about left! Its not about right! Its not about party, race or religion! Its about Logic! Its about common sense and living in the real world! People may want to turn a blind eye or choose to not pay attention but just because one’s blind doesn't mean the world disappears. It still turns and the blind along with the rest will still be affected by others lack of sight and neglect. People need to come to the understanding that knowing politics doesn't have anything to do with being affiliated to a party. Knowing history doesn't mean that you don't look towards the future. Knowledge is power, Ignorance is dangerous and distraction is the true enemy to a free society; and it is fear, excuses and distractions that have brought this pot to a boil! We are being constantly divided by those in power, using the ignorant as catalysts. Laws, and regulations are being allowed to pass on the opinions and social pressures of those who do not bother thinking of the doors they are allowing the government to open.
Little by little we are surrendering our freedom to choose how we live our lives and we are losing them because of those who are either too lazy to be self reliant, too self righteous to accept another's ability to make their own decisions and have their own beliefs or too ignorant to understand that the individual freedoms we were granted by our forefathers does not mean that an individual can dictate which rights another individual is allowed to have.
Those who are intelligent enough to question conformity can see that this Country is headed for a tipping point. They get an unnerving feeling. A feeling in the pit of their stomach when they watch the news and see the state our country is in and listen to our so called "elected representatives" speak; their instincts is telling them they are being lied to. Your gut is telling you, you are not free. You are a slave. Something is wrong in this country and it's no longer acceptable to be a mindless ideologue. No longer acceptable to be gleefully entertained by the circuses. No longer acceptable to not peer behind the curtains! You are an adult! You are an amazing force! You are not a stupid person! Put down your ear budz, put down your game controller and turn off your television! Pick up a book! Listen to that voice in your head that's saying "This shit is getting out of hand!" Put away your excuses and your fears and replace it with nerve and vision!
Be aware however that you will be met with resistance. The ignorant forces that is being led by those in control is strong. They will use their politics to limit your power. They will use their media to dull your voices and divide you. They will use their troves of mindless sheep, their army of useful idiots to stifle your cause. They will call you bigot. They will call you traitor. They will call you terrorist. They will defend their attempts at total power by all means necessary. Do not cower! You are not alone. One voice may be weak but our voices united can not be ignored! You are not the enemy. You are the Patriot! Philosophical, Intelligent brave and passionate. All of you who write and speak of the perils we face today. You who understand what the dream of America was and where it has gone wrong. You who will gladly, publicly voice your belief and stand proudly, head raised high and shoulders back with no shame. You are the souls of those who gave their lives for the dream called America and you American philosopher, poet, writer, rebel will always have my respect.
The time is here to make the government fear its people again and being free doesn't just happen! It takes lots of work and lots of knowledge but being ruled, all that takes is the acceptance of the thought that you have no power, that you alone can not change the world. You do have power but do you have the balls to rock the boat, to think for yourself and go against those who choose to sleep?! Do you have the nerve to stand against the wind and yell
