#JustFuckingStop!

“An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.”

Mahatma Gandhi

Just a little bit of advice. You can't use stories of black on white crimes as a means of arguing your points. It makes you just as wrong as people who use white on black crimes to push their agenda.

I've been seeing on news feeds lately these stories popping up of Black on White crimes and black on black crimes being used to "open up the minds" of those who use white on black crimes as a means to push their "Racial Tension" agendas. The truth is that they both happen at almost the same rate in this day and age, but the people you are trying to persuade are people who have already made up their minds on which agenda to push. It's like trying to convince a Nazi to love Jews, a racist to live in the hood, like A Cubs fan to love a Sox fan. It's not going to happen; all you end up doing is adding wood to the fires of racial tensions. So please just stop!

“A Rattlesnake, if cornered will become so angry it will bite itself. That is exactly what the harboring of hate and resentment against others is -- a biting of oneself. We think we are harming others in holding these spites and hates, but the deeper harm is to ourselves.”

E. Stanley Jones

Truth and facts only work if the recipient has an opened mind and free from bias. The only way to cure this disease is to educate yourselves and the youths and teach them personal responsibility! That's it! Teach them to fight as hard as they have to for their goals and dreams.

Yes! Some people have to fight harder than others! Stop crying about it! It's not going to change!

Yes! Some people receive different treatment and will face more adversity and inequality than others.

Just keep moving your feet!

One thing however is simple. Crime is crime! I don't give a fuck if it's a person of color against a white person or vise versa! The crime you commit warrants a punishment. It's fucking Newtonian!

I have been on the wrong side of the law on many occasions, more so in my youth, and the fact that I never did the long haul in prison or end up in the ground was pure luck , but if my fate would have turned up bad, I would have nothing to blame but my own Damn actions;

Not the person who arrested me: Had I not been in his sights in the first place, I wouldn't have been arrested, or subject to any abuse that would come after.

Not my parents or community: Once I hit a certain age , I knew damn well what right or wrong was and the consequences that comes with it, and

Not the fucking color of my skin:

“Parents can only give good advice or put them on the right paths, but the final forming of a person's character lies in their own hands.” ― Anne Frank

I've dealt with racism since the day I moved up north from Texas. I don't talk about it cause I don't focus on that ignorant shit, though I used to as a youth. I've focused myself now on being an intelligent, versatile and opened minded person, as well as, being a good husband and father, so that I can battle any negative stereotypes those in my race have created.

“Accomplishments have no color.”

Leontyne Price

My actions determines my future. It's called personal responsibility. I am completely aware of the lines in the sand when it comes to racial inequality! I am by no means ignorant of it! But I am not going to bitch and cry about it! I'm going to fight even harder to reach the goals I set for myself, despite the limits others have set for me! I will teach my son's to face the consequence for their actions and to never make excuses for their shortcomings, to always question everything and never stop educating themselves. I will not teach the hate of the world, or the hate that lies within me, to them, though I will make them aware of it.

Lastly, There will always be those who love to use the statement "you can never understand because.." as a means to end an argument with me or discredit any of my opinions; well, who the fuck do you think you are?! I grew up poor, around other poor people the majority of my life. I've experienced racism at its worst. People that share my heritage and skin color have experienced oppression by the system, but I will never, never, use my past as a means to justify my place in this world.

“If you have come to help me you are wasting your time. But if you recognize that your liberation and mine are bound up together, we can walk together.”

Lila Watson

Everything I have I had to work my ass off to get with very little or no help at all. I am a survivor! So keep your nagging and bullshit excuses out of my face. I don't do excuses.......unless my football team is losing.

Don't be afraid.

That ringing you hear in your ears
